Mattia Paolucci, born in 2004 in Pisa, inherited his father’s love for motorcycles. Starting at age four, he swiftly excelled in regional championships, claiming the Tuscan championship at nine. Progressing to interregional competitions, he ventured into MiniGP for two years.
His breakthrough came in 2019, debuting in MotoEstate’s Supermono 450cc category, securing second place. The subsequent year saw him competing in Moto4 and the MotoEstate Trophy with MRT Corse. In 2021, he entered the 600 category, clinching two second places in the Coppa Italia Dunlop Cup. The following year, he dominated the Coppa Italia FMI Moto2, winning the rookie category with consistent victories.
Despite a challenging period due to a corneal problem in 2022, he finished second in the Dunlop Cup 600 BISSP category. Admiring Jorge Lorenzo in childhood, he now appreciates Marc Marquez’s talent. In 2024, Paolucci and MRT Corse gear up for the Dunlop Cup 600, aiming to clinch the championship after being Vice Champion last season.
