This customs scheme allows companies to bring goods into one EU country and transfer them to another without paying import VAT at the border. Instead, VAT is deferred and applied at a 0% rate in the final destination. By eliminating immediate VAT costs and outdated customs procedures like the T1 transit document, the system reduces financial strain and improves supply chain efficiency. This leads to faster deliveries, lower transport costs, and better control over freight.
