2025 FIATA HQ Meeting: A Year of Growth and Innovation

The 2025 FIATA HQ Meeting, set for March 17-20 in Geneva, will kickstart a year of progress in global freight forwarding. Reflecting on 2024, FIATA made significant strides through collaboration, sustainability efforts, and digital transformation. The FIATA World Congress in Panama fostered innovation, while partnerships with organizations like the Smart Freight Centre and the World Bank strengthened the industry’s move toward greener logistics. FIATA also played a key role in international policy discussions, ensuring its members’ voices were heard in global trade forums.

As a UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) member, FIATA works closely with major international bodies such as UNECE, UNESCAP, UNCTAD, and WTO. These collaborations align logistics policies with industry needs. The 2025 FIATA HQ Meeting will feature expert-led sessions on topics like multimodal transport, cyber resilience, free trade agreements, and digital freight forwarding. This event will pave the way for regional meetings across Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the Americas, fostering dialogue on key challenges and opportunities in different markets.

With 2025 poised for industry growth, FIATA remains committed to digitalization, trade facilitation, and education. The FIATA World Congress in Hanoi this October will be a major milestone, bringing industry leaders together to shape the future of logistics. By embracing innovation and collaboration, FIATA is driving a more resilient and competitive freight forwarding sector.
